DETAILS OF THE 2008 SHOW

* This year we are hosting the Canadian Orchid Congress (COC) Annual Meeting during our show,
and we expect to have even more exhibitors, vendors and other events than we have had in previous years.

Once again, our theme this year is Orchidophilia Ottawa - Love of Orchids

Location:

Nepean Sportsplex, 1701 Woodroffe Avenue, Nepean

Date:

Saturday, April 26 and Sunday, April 27, 2008.

Time:

12:00 to 5:00 on Saturday; 9:00 to 5:00 on Sunday (photographers - please come early on Sunday to avoid the rush).

Admission:

Regular admission: $8

Seniors: $7

Children 8 - 12: $6 (under 8 - free)

Everyone is welcome to attend, and we are wheelchair accessible.

If you print a copy and bring it with you, your admission price will be reduced by $1 from the prices shown above.

If you have an interest in photography, why not bring your camera? By coming early on Sunday, you can beat the crowds and have more space to take your photographs. [Please limit the use of tripods to Sunday morning only.]

2008 Show Schedule.

To make sure you enter your plants in the correct category, please read through the Show Schedule carefully.

The 2008 Show Schedule is available in MS Word format , in RTF format (RTF can be opened from Word, Word Perfect or other word processor), or in PDF format (suitable for printing).

Plant Pre-registration.

We encourage participants who are exhibiting plants to pre-register your plants before you arrive for show setup. By pre-registering you avoid the rush during setup, and once you have pre-registered you can take your time setting up your exhibit.

To pre-register your plants for the the show, please use the 2008 pre-registration form, available in MS Word format, or in RTF format (can be opened from Word Perfect or other word processor). The form is also available in PDF format for printing, but electronic submission is strongly encouraged.

To make sure you enter your plants in the correct category, please read through the Show Schedule carefully. Please note that pre-registration is only for plant exhibits - it is not available for entries in other categories.

Vendor and Exhibitor Registration.

If you are interested in participating in the show as an exhibitor or a vendor,

Please follow the guidelines on the form to make sure your entries are exhibited and judged in the appropriate class(es).
